Connect-Tek Inc. was incorporated in 1988 as a “woman owned” small business concern in New York under the name IDC (Interface Devices Corp.). Soon after incorporating a small retail store with an assembly line facility was opened in Ronkonkoma NY.

IDC assembled A/B switch boxes designed to allow multiple computers to share printers and other devices. These USA made switches were sold both retail & wholesale. Alone with the sale of A/B switches a full line of computer peripheral devices were offered in the retail store.

Over time IDC realized the need for a device that would allow multiple servers to share a single Keyboard, Video Device (monitor) & Mouse commonly referred to as KVM Switches. This was seen in the industry as a huge savings of computer components & corporate real estate.

IDC rapidly began designing circuitry & housings to accomplish manufacturing one of the first USA manufactured KVM Switch under the name of “Millennia KVM Switches”, whereby IDC incorporate under the name “Connect-Tek, Inc.

As the KVM Switch manufacturing geared up, Connect-Tek Inc. moved into a 4000 sq. ft. facility in Long Island City, NY and introduced their full line of Server Cabinets & Server Racks.

In 2009 with the down turn of the economy, Connect-Tek, Inc. was forced to downsize their warehouse capacity and moved into a sleek 1400 sq. ft. facility on Staten Island NY and focused 100% on only offering Server Cabinets, Server Racks & their accessories.

Currently Connect-Tek, Inc – with their 28 Years’ of Experience, exclusively offers a full line of USA made Server Cabinets & Server Racks. In fact they offer 500 products in the following categories:
